Haus Schwamm is located in a quiet side street in Dudweiler, a district of Saarbrücken directly adjacent to the university. It is a privately run student residence that rents out rooms to students on behalf of the Studentenwerk. The house was built in 1980 and has been maintained and serviced since then by the Studentenwerk.
All rooms are fitted with a satellite TV point but do not have a direct internet connection, though internet access over the phone line is possible.
21 one-person flats
Each one-person flat is furnished with a cupboard, divan bed with storage drawer, chest of drawers, shelving, table and chair, and is fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin and a small kitchenette.
Area: between 21 m2 and 25 m2
Other facilities:
A washing machine is available in the cellar. The house also has car parking spaces on the premises and a bike lockup.
Haus Schwamm is only about a three-minute walk from Dudoplatz where students can take one of the many bus services that serve the university campus.
